Two channels. Three frequencies. Zero single points of failure.

WiFi and RF radio run in parallel at all times. If WiFi drops, RF takes over instantly — the guest never knows. Three RF frequencies provide redundant backup paths. The on-board server processes everything locally with no internet required. Five independent AI transcription engines cross-validate every voice request.

Built by someone who has been at 3 AM when a system fails mid-Atlantic. Every design decision is a response to a real failure scenario.

Crestron & Control4

Full bidirectional control.

When OBEDIO says Crestron integration, it does not mean the system sends a notification into Crestron. It means OBEDIO acts as a full input layer. A guest call dims lights, pauses entertainment, adjusts climate, and routes a crew alert simultaneously. An emergency call activates corridor lighting vessel-wide.

Control4 integration follows the same pattern. Every call becomes an automation event. Every automation scene can be triggered by a call. Bidirectional, not one-way.

Configuration

Every press. Fully configurable.

Single press, double press, long press, touch, shake — each action is independently configurable per button. Voice recording, simple call, urgent call, emergency broadcast. LED colours, audio feedback, shake sensitivity. Six tabs of configuration for the integrator. Zero complexity for the guest.

WiFi + RF Hybrid

Both channels active simultaneously. Automatic failover. Configurable priority. The guest never experiences a dropped signal.

On-Board Server

All AI, translation, and routing runs on hardware installed on the vessel. No cloud. No subscriptions. No data leaving the ship.

IP67 Buttons

CNC aluminum housing. Sealed against moisture. Rated for marine environments. Every connection waterproofed.

OTA Updates

Firmware updates delivered over the air. No on-site visits for software maintenance. All devices on the vessel update simultaneously.
